Practice Skills Have Racing Impact at Season Opener in Lethbridge

AMAC swimmers showed some really sharp skills on starts, turns and underwater swimming at the season opening LASC Fall Challenge, October 24-25. The competition featured over 200 swimmers from southern Alberta and BC with 34 Marlins (reduced by 4 & 1 coach) racing well and posting 73 top three finishes, including 33 individual wins and 4 relay wins!

Great Finish to the Club Season at Nationals in Montreal

The club season ended this past weekend witht the conclusion of Age Group Nationals in Montreal. The meet followed the Senior National Championships the week before and in all 16 AMAC swimmers competed with great success in one or both of the meets.

Mayday, Mayday - Club Records and Qualifying Times Go Down at LASC Spring Challenge

New Qualifiers was the theme of the meet at the LASC Spring Challenge at the University of Lethbridge pool May 1-3. 31 AMAC swimmers competed and we added one swimmer to our Age Nationals Team, one to our A Provincial Team and two our AB Trials Team.

FISU Games, Canada Games, Team Alberta, Swimming Canada Prospects Team

After a great short course season we have more swimmers on National & Provincial Teams than ever before. AMAC will be represented at the FISU Games in Belgrade this July, Canada Games in PEI in August, Swimming Canada Prospects Team in May, Swim Alberta 14 & under Team in April and Swim Alberta Southern Team in April.

Great Age Group Champs Wraps Up Fantastic SC Season For AMAC!

AMAC swimmers capped off the SC season with great swimming at Alberta Age Group Champs in Calgary, March 20-22. Our team of 16 swimmers placed 6th in the overall team ranking with every swimmer placing top 20 in at least one event and 7 swimmers reaching the podium in individual events.
